WEB GEMS- Top 1st: Jolbert Cabrera robbed Bobby Higginson of a base hit.
In a tight game it was the Burbank Tigers 4, the Langley Farm Team 2 at the
ballpark.
Langley lost it in the 3rd inning when Burbank did all their damage as they
scored 4 runs on 5 base hits. That early scoring was all that Gil
Meche(6-12) needed. Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning.
Yhency Brazoban earned the save, his 3rd. Mark Mulder(9-12) suffered the
loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 4 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
